they will experience after heart surgery.

for pain relief by the time they are discharged from hospital about 5 -7 days
after their operation.
After four weeks, most patients only require pain killers at night to
help them sleep.
Most patients complain of “soreness” rather than severe pain.
In unusual circumstances patients experience severe pain requiring
stronger analgesia to control, but this is rare.
Some patients don’t experience any discomfort at all.
